Budding Fashion designer Rachel Nakimera to Showcase at the Diaspora Gala 2014 Edition

One of the featured designers at this year’s Diaspora gala will be new kid on the bloc – Rachel Nakimera. A graduate of the Margaret Trowell school of industrial and fine arts at Makerere University. Racheal has designed for politicians and many leading musicians in Uganda.

Rachel prefers vintage clothing having been inspired by her Mother’s dress code from back in the day. She likes old styles with a modern interpretation and that has been her inspiration to merge color with a traditional fresh look.

Rachel’s collection will be among the featured designs at this year’s Diaspora Fashion show 2014 edition.  Be sure to join her as she unveils her combination of old vintage and a traditional modern stylish look for today’s fashionistas! Save the date Tuesday 30th December 2014.
